Red Wine & Dark Chocolate Benefit the Heart & IHF, June 2004
The Israel Heart Fund held its annual benefit in Jerusalem at the beautiful home of IHF Board Member Jay & Huti Pomrenze. Proceeds from the evening were used to prevent heart disease in children at-risk, particularly those who suffer from obesity. The event included a wine-tasting, led by Barry Saslove of Saslove Winery.
Guests sampled from several wines including those donated by the Binyamina and Ramat HaGolan wineries, as well as dark chocolate donated by Elite. The event was deemed a success (and delicious!) by the diverse group of IHF supporters who attended.

IHF Honored at US Ambassador's Residence, October 2003
The Israel Heart Fund was honored at a reception held at the residence of the United States Ambassador to Israel and Mrs. Daniel C. Kurtzer. Over 70 guests attended the evening celebrating the partnership of Americans and Israelis dedicated to the prevention of heart disease. It was a special gathering of policy makers, medical experts, representatives from the world of the arts, culture and business leaders, all of whom enjoyed an insightful and witty presentation by well-known artist and political cartoonist Mark Podwal, a long-time supporter of the Israel Heart Fund. Thanks again to our gracious hosts.
