The mission of the Israel Heart Fund is to prevent and reduce primary and secondary cardiovascular disease (CVD), the leading cause of premature death and disability in Israel. IHF promotes healthy lifestyle habits that will improve the length and quality of life of both the general public and of high-risk populations. IHF also supports the research and development of cost-effective programs that address the management of CVD and its risk factors.

With an approach that is both innovative and caring, IHF is committed to collaborating with other health-oriented organizations by providing critical funding, scientific expertise and resources for advocacy.

By collaborating with local and national health care agencies and with the oversight of a Scientific Advisory committee, IHF is able to maximize the results of our research.
